Battle Royale Fortnite
The Island from Chapter 2 has been flipped, revealing the new Island and turning the page to Chapter 3. Here’s a new Chapter 3 Season 1 Orientation! Consider this your guide to your new life of Fortnite Battle Royale. 1 2 3
The Places
When you go to Isle Royale, the first thing you’ll see is that the western half is a wintry biome. Maybe you’ll visit the suburbs of Greasy Grove, the industrial Logjam Lumberyard, and other locales.
Like warm weather? To the east are the tropics with coastal keys palm trees and weathered sights to see. Although the Seven have outposts all throughout the Island, the tropics are home to their home, the “Sanctuary.” This compound is right next to the coast where you can have a clear view of the sunset. view the giant rock statue of The Foundation. Speaking of huge the Daily Bugle building is also huge.
Do you like warm weather? In the south you can find a desert (some of it decorated with snow), but this desert is not devoid of interesting places. Go off-road racing at Chonker’s Speedway, revel in cozy living at Condo Canyon and something that will wet even the driest eyes “come for a visit to our desert.” Down to the Butter Barn, returning.
The bolded locations above are just some of the Island’s many locales. By the time you receive this letter, the snow will have melted to reveal grasslands underneath.
The Weapons
A fresh slate of weapons awaits you on the Island. Here’s what’s new!
Ranger Assault Rifle
The Ranger Assault Rifle is very powerful at medium range, and is quite capable at long range.
MK-Seven Assault Rifle
Built from The Seven’s technology the MK-Seven Assault Rifle is a medium- to long-range weapon with a high rate of fire. This Assault Rifle has a sight you can use while aiming. Align your target with the sight’s red dot!
If you want something even better, you must attack The Foundation. If you want the MK-Seven Assault Rifle, you must confront The Foundation for a special version of the weapon, which has a slightly faster fire rate.
Striker Pump Shotgun
The Striker Pump Shotgun shoots a lot of pellets and can deal high burst damage. Aim and strike! : Each pellet of the Striker Pump Shotgun fires a piercing, low-damage shot. Aim for enemies’ heads, breasts, or bellies. Hit an enemy’s head, breast, or belly, and the damage is doubled.
Auto Shotgun
Automatic allies that lay down serious firepower. The Auto Shotgun may not deal as much damage as the Striker Pump per shot, but it has a faster fire rate and reloads two shells at a time.
Sidearm Pistol
A highly useful weapon to have on your side, the Sidearm Pistol is an accurate weapon that deals high damage at medium range and high headshot damage at close range. Don’t underestimate it!
Stinger SMG
The Stinger SMG deals high damage to both opponents and structures. This SMG can sting at medium range more than one may expect!
Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper
The Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper is an effective way to take out opponents. It does high damage and shoots three shots per clip. If you get your shot off the first time, you get a second chance; and if you get your shot off the third time, you’re guaranteed to get a hit.
The Pastimes
Camping
With spacious and beautiful scenic routes, the Island is an ideal place for camping. Find a Tent item on the ground, then throw it down to assemble it. You can safely stash up to three items in your Tent to collect in future matches. Two item slots are available. The game will automatically assign new Tents in your inventory, and you can then rent slots of your inventory whenever you want.
Camping with friends is even more fun. If you’re in a Duos, Trios, or Squads team, have your teammates start a group campsite, so you can all enjoy the views together. Pack your Tents and take them to a new location to set up camp. Existing Tents you have in your personal inventory will remain intact. You can also leave your Tents in place if it’s late or if you want to save space.
(As you would expect, a ‘vaulted’ item will not be available if that item has been vaulted or is unavailable in the mode you’re in.)
Taking the Crown (or Seizing It)
Light one of your matches, and cover the entire matchbook — including its inside cover — with match after match. Lock the matchbook in a matchbox. Move the matchbox to a safe location — away from flammable objects — and wait a few days. When you open the matchbox, you’ll find a Victory Crown inside.
Your crown will shine in all its glory making you stand out to those seeking a Victory Crown of their own. If you win while wearing the crown you’ll get an exclusive Emote—showing off the total number of Victory Crowns you won. You will find the Crowned Victory Royale in your Available Property tab, under Epic Battles!
Victory Crowns are conferred in the solo, duos, trios and squads game modes, and winning battles also leads to them.

- Duos: Players in the top two teams
- Trios: Players in the top team
- Squads: Players in the top team
